Our Story
2008
HaptichTech technology was invented during the Iraq operation Enduring Feedom.
As a combat pilot the inventor, while deployed in Iraq and Afghanistan, noticed the need for immersive military simulations.
2009
The first prototype was developed and the inventor recognizing the potential of the HapticTech Technology.
2011
After the inventor’s father suffered a stroke, the inventor began creating a prototype using the HapticTech Technology for rehabilitation purposes. This is also when he started CaptoGlove, a company developing gaming applications using the HapicTech Technology.
Overview of the HapticTech Technology
The Project HapticTech Technology is a patented wearable haptic device technology designed to capture and interpret hand and finger movements, functioning and providing haptic feedbacks as a glove with integrated sensors and technology. Invented by a former military pilot, the technology has been refined over time and is patented in multiple countries, including China, Hong Kong, Italy, U.S., European Union, and Canada; and includes an international patent.
The patent covering HapticTech Technology introduces an improved method for versatile interaction with a host system, especially in virtual reality (VR) or augmented reality (AR) applications.
